Can Manchester City go top of the Premier League tonight?

As long as the weather does not deteriorate any more, then the Premier League match tonight between Manchester City and Everton will be allowed to go ahead and it will not become another casualty of the cold weather that is ruining sporting events up and down the country.

The match will be a tough test for Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini as this time last year City replaced their last manager, currently he is at odd of 10/1 to be the next manager to join the Premier League sackrace.

Mancini has removed the captaincy from Carlos Tevez following his very public transfer request last week but he is still scheduled to take part in the game. A win for City at Eastlands tonight could see them leapfrog Arsenal and Manchester United to take the top spot of the Premier League although they will have played two more games than Sir Alex’s side.

Odds are against Arsenal tonight as they face Manchester United at Old Trafford

Thanks to the recent slip ups that have been made by Carlo Ancelotti’s Chelsea side in the Premier League, their reign on top of the table has ended with Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal managing to claim the top spot. However will they be able to stay up there for long as they travel to Old Trafford tonight for their Premier League clash.

A win for either team tonight will see the side that claims all 3 points become the top of the league, either cementing their position or gaining a valuable advantage over Chelsea.

To put you in the Christmas spirit the bookmakers Paddy Power are running a cash back offer that is full of festive cheer. If the 22 players on the pitch manage to score more than four goals in the game then Paddypower will refund all of the losing first and last goal scorer bets, and to make the deal even sweeter they will also refund losing correct score and score cast single bets that you have made on the match.
